Hi, I’m Fatima — the human behind Hanks House! 🐾

My love for animals has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I’ve spent my life caring for, fostering, rescuing, and learning from animals of all shapes and sizes. Along the way, I also had the opportunity to work as a veterinary technician, where I gained valuable hands-on experience with animal health and care.

But the real heart behind Hanks House is Hank, my soul dog. I rescued him while working as a vet tech, and somehow, in the process of finding him a home, he completely changed mine. He gave me the courage to turn my love for animals into something of my own — a life where I could be home with him while creating a safe, happy place for other furry friends, too.

What started with one very special bulldog has grown into Hanks House — a little business with a whole lot of heart, built around making pets feel loved, comfortable, and cared for just like they would at home. ❤️
