Cancellation Policy

Hanks House understands that plans can change. Because transportation services require dedicated scheduling, travel time, and route planning, the following policy applies: Local & Routine Transportation This includes transportation to and from veterinary and grooming appointments, daycare, boarding facilities, pet hotels, events, and other local destinations. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled service are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days but more than 72 hours before the scheduled service are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable. City-to-City & State-to-State Transportation Because long-distance transportation requires additional scheduling, route planning, and dedicated travel time, cancellations made at least 14 days before the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days but at least 7 days before departure are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure are non-refundable. Holiday Transportation Due to limited availability and increased demand, holiday transportation bookings are subject to a stricter cancellation policy. For local and routine holiday transportation, cancellations made at least 14 days in advance are eligible for a full refund; cancellations made less than 14 days in advance are non-refundable. For city-to-city and state-to-state holiday transportation, cancellations made at least 21 days in advance are eligible for a full refund; cancellations made less than 21 days in advance are non-refundable. Once transportation has begun, including once Hanks House has arrived for pickup or the pet has been picked up, the service is non-refundable. Changes or cancellations made by a veterinarian, groomer, event venue, boarding facility, or other destination do not override the Hanks House cancellation policy.
